My works always emerge in a serial process.
At present I am producing a cycle with the working title Lost to regain - for this, I am developing 24 fictive women characters, to each of which I assign her own themes and work groups. In terms of time, this story is set in a period from the 19th
century to the end of the fourth millennium. All the female figures are my own alter egos - it is about the transfer of memories, about cloning, about current experiments in neurology, and ultimately, about the question just how capable of survival homo sapiens will be in the future. And, should we be wishing for continuing existence, anyway?
All these women characters are referred to as Replacements and each of them is given a biography. I myself embody Replacement 08, and on a march on foot from Jena via Berlin to Rostock in summer 2016 the narrative structure of the story as a whole
has been developed experimentally in walking.
